I gotta say, students have really upped their excuse game. They come up with some amazing reasons for why they aren’t able to do their work, and especially in the virtual world, they’re able to blame technology for basically everything:
couldn’t connect to my class
couldn’t log in
the link to my assignment didn’t work
my computer isn’t working
don’t have the latest version of the software
not compatible
the WiFi was down
the content didn’t load
got an error message
and the list goes on…
